The owner, Monique is unprofessional. I once came in for a sew-in, and whilst being in her chair, she instructed me to "Get up" so that she could fix her friend's lace install. I was very confused and dumbfounded at the manner in which she spoke to me and that she was TELLING me to get up, as opposed to asking me. However, I did get up, thinking it may take a couple of minutes to fix that woman's hair. (Mind you, this friend came in way after me.) Tacky. Neither she or her friend apologized to me...and I just didn't like how she spoke to me as if I was her child. I was left waiting about 30 minutes for her friend's hair to finish. Needless to say, I gave her what was owed for the service provided (which was mediocre), and NEVER came back to her establishment. She's rude and unprofessional. I now go where my business is valued and respected. It's evident in the way she responds to negative reviews that she would rather argue with customers than seize the opportunity to use constructive criticism as a way to grow and develop as a stylist and better her character.
