I want to go back. I wish my vacation was longer. This mountain was so beautiful and scenic. I can't even explain it. It's better or exactly what your expecting. Hearing all noises of nature *and the flies trying to tell you something in your ear.* If you yell your voice actually echos. In the summertime, it's warm during the day and cool during the night. When we started our campfire we had to grab our blanket to stay out there or else we will be too cold. Did I mention I saw the stars? So many to count compare to the city. One cool things about the countryside *however you wont meet animals in the city like that. When we partially went to rattlesnake creek, there were two snakes. We should have seen it coming but we still drove there. We decide to snake free place called cemetery creek or something like that. It had kayak but we couldn't find the location. 👍 I enjoyed it so much it was like a lazy pool and its had its own current. We spent 1.5 hrs there. After that we went to the cabin and we met a cute raccoon who look so friendly but everyone was telling me to ignore him.😅

I wasn't sure what to expect from this campground as there isn't much online about it, but to say I absolutely loved it here is an understatement. When I first showed up, the ranger at the office was beyond helpful answer any questions I could think of. Later on the ranger brought the firewood to the campsite. It's a 24/7 quiet hour campground so it's very peaceful and everyone there followed the rules. Overall, a good, clean campsite with some awesome scenery around. Can't wait to come back again.

Amazing place. The rim trail is phenomenal and the general store staff were super friendly and very informative. I highly recommend going to see this awesome bit of nature. Make sure you bring $3 cash to pay the fee. Learned that the hard way. Enjoy!!!

So beautiful! Mountain View’s everywhere you look! The drive up is across gravel roads with some pretty wicked turns a a couple of switchbacks but don’t let that stop you. I saw folks in cars and full size SUVs make it up there with no problem. We drive a 2WD full-size truck and it did just fine.
