Today marks the last day that I come to this salon. I’ve been a loyal customer for the past 4 years, this is why it makes me sad. The nail tech removed my cuticles and had my nails prepped nicely for the color, when I requested to test out the color first, I had two shades and was not sure which one I wanted. She tried it on herself, I asked her if she can try it on me because I have a “different” skin-tone when she refused and aggressively said: “Do it yourself!” I told the manager that I want someone else to do the job, and I mentioned that I don’t mind waiting since I saw it was a full house! I was about to explain what happened when he said “If you don’t like this place you can go somewhere else”. I literally said “No, I love this place. I’ve been coming here for 4 years”. But, he insisted that I leave, which was rude and unprofessional. It’s worth mentioning that ever since the new management took over, this place changed a lot. I remember one time this man was sick, and he wasn’t wearing a mask and was wiping his nose with his hands and touching everything..!

I used to get my nails done here regularly about 3 years ago. I decided to stop by again and made an appointment well in advance since I would be coming in at the end of the day on a holiday weekend. The service has definitely changed. I walked in and no one said a word to me. I awkwardly stood at the front desk so that I could check-in for a long while before anyone came to help me. While I waited, I noticed everyone else who came in after me was greeted as soon as they walked through the door and asked if they needed help. I ended up waiting a little over 30 minutes even though I'd had an appointment. I was the last one left waiting even though people came in after me. My nails looked OK but the nail tech did skip some finishing steps. I was also overcharged. I won't be back.

Technician didn't wear gloves. I'm not sure that the tools were sterilized. My finger bled and she just wiped it with a paper towel and set the towel aside. What if I had a bloodborne illness ?? (I don't). I like my nails but I think I may need to find a new salon.

Walk-ins are not usually a problem, but you may want to avoid Saturday mornings when they are quite busy.
$28.00. Excellent service. Spotless facility!
