The person (man) that answered the phone today 10/01/22 at 4:48pm was being subliminally racist. To think I was going to spend my money there. Teach your disgusting workers to be more polite and hide there racism better!!

My friends and I love playing board games, so we figured we should try this place out. The atmosphere was really cool and comfortable. The lattes were delicious, and there's such a huge selection of games. We thought someone would explain the game we chose, but we figured it out ourselves. The way to pay for the tab/experience was through our phones, which was confusing. However, the staff was helpful, and we were able to pay what was due. All in all, my friends really enjoyed this part of Chicago, and I plan to go again.

Really nice place to hang out with friends. Food and drinks are overpriced of course but they have people who explain to you how to play the game, $7 (not including tax and tip) to play unlimited games.

We had a blast at this place. Went for my friend's birthday and it was great, you get to choose any board game, they have a large variety of it, Ambience is great if you are a small group and for a larger group you can group a private room which is awesome as well. Definitely visiting again sometime.

I agree with what has been said: kids are welcome, but no special "kid friendly" menu.
Hi Yvie! Yes, you are welcome to bring any of your own games to play if you'd like. We do have a gigantic library of stuff (including many Fifth Edition books) and are working on some pretty slick D&D programming, but if you want to bring your own things and play at the table, that is totally ok!
I saw it in their vault when we ate there.
It's a reopening under a new name. Snakes and Lattes/Amfil purchased this cafe from Cards Against Humanity. It opened early 2020 and most reviews are from before the name change/ownership change.
