Very nice place to spend the weekend especially if you can rent multiple cabins together as a cabins are very close together. They could have maybe been cleaned a little bit better as we found a bowl of moldy beans in the microwave. There was also a bunch of black starlings nesting in the eaves that would wake us up very early in the morning. But all in all it was a very nice place and we enjoyed the train going by one night.

The owners were very friendly and went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. We are kayakers and we loved the James river! The cabins are only about 30 minutes from Branson, so we enjoyed a show one evening. There isn't a TV in the cabin so enjoy the games they have available or bring a good book to read on the front porch.

We had a group of 15 of us that rented 3 cabins for a float trip over memorial day weekend. Though the floating was not an option once we arrived due to the weather, the cabins and the property made for an amazing experience for our group!! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time with beautiful scenery !! Thanks to the owners for their hospitality !!

Great, quiet get-away. We reviewed the cabins under the old name (Pop's Retreat) but stayed here in May 2016. Free wifi and kitchen make it a great spot for family reunions or gatherings. Cabins sleep 6 but the kids will probably be more adept at climbing the steps/ladder upstairs. Two night discount. Definitely recommend.
