Most unreliable transit system ever! If you want to get where you are going on time,leave at least an hour+ early, and even then they will let you down and make you late!

Trains go in both directions - there are trains headed towards Downtown and trains headed towards O'Hare.

If you buy the ventra card it will charge 2.50 for metro or bus, plus within 2 hrs of swiping the card if you have to catch any transit bus or train, it will be free for next 2 transit within 2 hrs of first swipe

Is there a way to know ahead of time when/if the escalators are done at this station? Since the newly renovated station still lacks an elevator. It's hard for mobility limited people who cannot handle stairs

No it is not. There is no elevator here. Next station southbound it is ( Logan Square) and the next station northbound ( Addison) it is too.
