Always seem to have what I'm looking for, plus items that are more unique to the craftsman. Atmosphere always makes me feel like I'm at an old neighborhood hardware store. Staff are always eager to assist. I will and have continued to make this my first stop, before hitting the big hardware stores.

In the past it was a pleasure to shop at Craftwood while listening to the classic rock station that would be on. Recently there are these obnoxious ads for insecticides, lawn chemicals and other poisons constantly running over the sound system. Makes a big box store like Home Depot a more attractive alternative for paint, lumber, plumbing and garden supplies!

March, 2022 After prior negative reviews of customer service there, it persists. So Craftwood went from 2 stars down to 1 today. I called lumber and the employee on the phone was not interested in helping me solve my lumber need. Craftwood doesn't seem to care about building loyalty or relationships with all contractors. They could have offered to cut a piece of $$$ lumber for me instead of insisting I buy the entire long piece - I would have gladly paid for the millwork labor, but no. So I went to Home Depot instead. I gave them another chance but they failed to earn my business - again. Craftwood continues to ignore the fact that customer service is more important than ever in this online, competitive climate. 2021: Store employees prefer to continue their personal conversations than help customers find items. So you you stand there waiting in plain sight for them to help you. 2018: Debbie, who never returned my calls, charged one of my credit cards on file for an order without my authorization, the day before I could arrive there to pay in person. I think that's technically ILLEGAL. They had charged my business account for a personal purchase for an order that arrived only 3 days prior. How impatient of them! Some of us pros get busy now and then. Electrical department never has the type of outlet or type of circuit breaker needed. Quicker to get the right items needed via online than to wait a full week by ordering parts from there - plus their markup.
