would give less stars if i could. i could see the writing on the wall when i moved in in July as the building engineer had an attitude when i tried to arrange a time to get my keys. his attitude changed when i told him i was coming from out of town (as if that should matter). i had an (still have) a water pressure issue with my hot water and he said it was an old building and he would have to “call the pressure guy to fix it.” i’ve lived in many old buildings, yet somehow they were able to give tenants decent water pressure without making up an imaginary person that they would be too inconvenienced to call. next, the sink in the bathroom was clogged and i have multiple emails going back and forth stating someone would be by to look at it. weeks went by and it wasn’t until i was blowing them up everyday, even showing a video of my sink clogged and water no longer draining. next, the laundry room. there are 4 washers and 4 dryers. 2 washers are down and now there’s a dryer that isn’t drying clothes. this all seems very small, but they turn into significant issues when it seems like the company couldn’t care less about the tenants that are paying them. i have never lived in a building where i have felt this ignored. i will not be recommending this place to anyone and shouldn’t have dismissed the reviews echoing my same sentiments.

Let me start off by saying, Beal was so quick and so fair to review everything I had to offer as a first time renter! They have the relationships with the agencies around the city that make EVERYTHING go so smooth! The way their applications process works took all the anxiety of renting my first apartment in the city away! It took 5 easy steps and everyone in their offices was so quick to respond to anything I submitted. I even was so excited to get my keys and wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get them before the weekend started and they still were able to pull it off and get me my keys within the hour! I’m 100% sure I saved myself a nightmare of a time renting my first apartment by working with Beal. Keep in mind that this is a face pace industry, come with everything you need for an agent to help you, be prepared and specific about what your looking for and you will also have a great time working with these people!
