Great Train Shop!

I'm an advanced beginner HO model railroader that was traveling in from out of town on business so I had a very limited amount of time in the store. Here's my experience : it seemed that O scale was their predominant scale that they sell; but they'd told me over the phone that they had used HO scale items, which was what I was looking for. They didn't have a lot but of what they had, they did have a good selection. Some prices were 'retail' but some were quite good - it depended on the item. I bought a hard-to-find Bachmann boxcar and a Life-Like tank car for less than what I'd have paid just for the boxcar at most train shops. If you are a parent with kids that are not quite old enough for model trains, they seem to have a good selection of other toys over on the 'toy' side of the shop. They have a (much appreciated) customer restroom with a spacious changing table that I found to be very clean. There's even a McDonalds across the street which is handy for when you have kids in need of refreshments. It's a neat little store; and the next time that I'm in Chicagoland, I'll definitely return here.

It is very easy to notice from the street. It is right along Ogden a block or so East of Harlem.
I would call them because they have all kinds of stuff for train displays,,its possible they might have something,,,good luck finding one,,,maybe try zoo gift shop
The Hobbytown USA in St.Charles does. They also have an indoor track.
I think that they have both, if not they can certainly order it.
I really don't know if they buy. Their a great store, but if they don't, I know the Exchange on Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago does. And they are very fair with their o ffers.
No RC cars or parts of any kind. Lots of trains, a decent selection of plastic models and supplies. Lego and Thomas the Train also.
Sorry Sir! You would have to ask Tom or Larry.
They have lots of supplies,,and walls of models just not sure about gundam, but worth the trip
Yeah they do.
They seem to be a few dollars cheaper. It's not an overpriced toy store.
They have a good selection of what your looking for.
I don't think so I was there not to long ago maybe I didn't see it? I know hobbytown has some
Yes I buy lynel trains but I order from the catalog. When the catalogs come out twice a year he doesn't have a big selection of Lionel trains they mostly have MTH. When you say Village are you talkin about O gauge buildings if you are he has a selection it's not the biggest but you have to go there and look for yourself.
I believe that they do.
