Radiology front desk is horrible. I hope to never go there again. I'm not sure if they are properly trained or just incompetent at addressing patient concerns. Called several times for records, promised call back, my doctor called and requested info, records were never sent.

I had a knee replacement surgery June 28, of this year and the nurses and doctors were very Professional, the nurses were very Compassionate and Careing, I felt bad because I had to keep ringing for a nurse to help me to the bathroom! They kept telling me that is what we are here for to help you, that meant so much to me, I also thought that the Food was Delicious and always filled me up. Hats off to the whole STAFF! I also think that the Hospital needs to put more nurse's on a shift when they are short handed, it happened when I was there , I felt so bad for them , it wasn't the nurses fault but sometimes it took a little longer for them to come to me because of the short handed situations. I am getting my second surgery November 22 at Elmhurst Hospital , and then I go to MacNeal for in patient care and therapy

This is where souls and spirits go to get irreparably crushed. For my privacy and to avoid detailing occurrences others may find confronting and upsetting, I won't reveal medical conditions or many emotional mistreatment details, but know my experiences at this subpar (not in all specialties, just many) facility align with others' descriptions of poor or even horrendous (mine was the latter) experiences here. While going to their labs for various tests is fine, an inpatient stay on the fifth floor of the building seen in my photos was highly detrimental. The mistreatment in a decrepit, decaying environment (think feces, mold, mildew, falling window coverings, and more) would be considered abusive or near-abusive by most, and it would certainly be damaging to all. My experience is from several days in 2017 when MacNeal was a Trinity Healthcare facility; however, rebranding as Loyola doesn't change that experience, the fallout from which I still struggle viscerally daily. I'll always remember being yelled at by staff, just as I'll remember the physical intimidation and verbal threats. There's little respect for the intrinsic value and dignity of fellow humans here. I've also noted that when there are replies to negative reviews of this chaotic hospital, the reviewer is told to "have a great day." When someone has serious issues with an entity like MacNeal Loyola Hospital and they express as much, they don't want to hear "have a great day." No response would be better than a patronizing, dismissive, thoughtless "have a great day." This place has ruined many days, nights, weeks, months, and years. Don't tell disgruntled, mistreated patients to have a great day, as it's a bit late for that.

Brought my mother in for chest pain and pain going down her left side. There is no urgency. The waiting room is not full. They go by first come first serve. Not the severity of the situation. The waiting room is dirty, paint is peeling. I will never bring my mother to this hospital again

Ask the front desk, or , any employee of the Hospital.
I recommend that you contact Loyola/ MacNeal Hospital directly to have your question answered as I highly doubt any contributor on Google Maps would know this information.
Yes
Wrong section for a comment!!
I was visiting the professional building across Oak Park Ave.@ 33rd.Due to street repairs, parking conditions are very difficult for offices where many patients in degrees of debility are seen. Berwyn &/or Loyola should arrange for valet parking until the street work is done (late 2023!) especially in wet, icy,and/or snowy weather.
Yes
I'm not sure...but I do know you need a referral from a Doctor
If you injure yourself with something rusty or nasty dirty. If you do, get shot while being treated.
I delivered my son Dec. 2018 and had my own room. Chances are you might too.
Yed! Patient privacy, safey, and happiness is their #1 concerns, always. There is a law that protects patient's privacy. You're in the best hands.
It's a teaching Hospital however, the students don't "interfere" they learn. If you don't want them in the room learning request it from your Doctor, it definitely won't be an issue. Very friendly environment your request will be granted.
Call?
Telephone number
5:00pm😋
There's lots of places within 5-10 minute drive by the Riverside mall. Also along Ogden ave. And Cermak/22nd St. it just depends on what you're looking for. Mexican food is the most common around there, like El Meson, Lalos and Aguas calientes Etcetera.
It depends on the patient's condition and nursing station. For some is any time and others 8:00am or 9:00am untill 8:00pm or 10:00pm. One of my family members was there in different places and it always varied on his situation. So to make sure call the hospital and ask them or the nursing station where your loved is at. Good luck!!!
You have to call them if you really want to know. You'll never get your answer here. Good luck!!
You will need to call them and most likely go over to the hospital with the proper documents to get what you want. Remember the law does not allow anyone to give information just like that.
Yes! You ca come in on Oak Park and park just south of the hospital.
I'm not sure!! You may have to call them and ask.
I'm sure they have one. If they don't most banks have one and if you're a client, it's free.
It was a for profit but loyal just bought them
I'm sure they do. You should still check with them and find out if the doctor you're trying to see does. Hospitals will take any insurance, doctors don't. Call them!! Good luck.
Yes! They do.
Ok!
Yes they have some at the hospital.
They do have a psychiatric ward.
24 hours 7 days a week for regular patients. It's going to be less for other patients, in different nursing stations.
No you need to go to the hospital as soon as possible.why wait till Monday..
