I had a broken guide replaced on a rod. Repair work was done in the time frame estimated, price was fair and the work well done. You can't tell the difference between the pole repaired and one brand new in the store.

I needed my rod guides changed out/repaired and they were very honest about which guides I should use for salt water and informed me that the repair costs would be more expensive than what the rod was worth. Gave me an estinated repair timeline. Appreciated the honesty

They are pretty backed up and I would estimate a month out. But that's for a reason. Give them a call.
$25.00 plus parts. Usually a couple of weeks to get it done. Mine always come back as good as new!

That's an excellent gift idea! And, yes there are ways to add decals and such. One with a badge number should be easy.
