My favorite shop anywhere! Very knowledgeable owner and staff, this place has been a part of my life for a long time they may not remember me since I only get over there every few years but they never fail to purchase my collectibles. The owner drives a hard bargain and won't give you top prices but this is expected when you're haggling with one of the best. They've survived many hits thanks to the scavengers trying to take from an honest guy but luckily for my kids and I were able to still stop by and share some of my childhood and create new memories for my family. I hope you enjoy the hockey sticks and the framed Rogers, Durant, and bettis jersey's from a few years back. This place has whatever you're looking for if they don't well it probably doesn't exist go check them out but please keep your hands away from things your not purchasing.

Got this great Jim Rice I had been looking for. Nearly completed my ‘90 Donruss set as well.

We do purchase certain items, Vintage, High End/Expensive, or Rare items in some cases. In this field of collecting we have to inspect an item on a case by case basis to determine whether we can use it or not. Typically if we can use an item, we will pay about 50% of ebay's current completed sales prices for a similar or exact items value. So- if we were interested in item and your item's average selling price is about $50.00 we would pay about $25.00 pending conditional differences. For specifics call 210-524-2337 for questions on our inventory and selling your collection
To know where to best sell an item, you should research how valuable it is first. Expensive items are best sold at auction, hobby shops, or on ebay. Cheaper or more common materials could best be sold locally, like a garage sale, craigslist, offerup, fivemile, or facebook sales for example. Thanks for inquiring but we do not grade items, nor do we take submissions for grading on behalf of other grading services. Occasionally in the past we have hosted Beckett Grading for in store raw card review services, but as of now (5-10-22) we do not have them scheduled for in store grading.
Yeah depends on the condition and if it's a high end desirable card
At this time SCP is not buying Pokémon singles, but we encourage you to consider ebay as well as other selling sites.
As of today (3-17-21) we have hobby packs, and retail cello packs. Please call 210-524-2337 for current stocked items and prices.
I have a m.j.jersey I pd 70 I'll sell

SCP does buy cards, HOWEVER SCP specializes in hard to find and old items. So SCP would ONLY be looking for 1960s & OLDER Baseball & Football. Basketball from 1986 & OLDER. Condition is also important- relative to age they must be in good shape to be considered.
Please call the shop at 210-524-2337 for all inquiries.
Check Ebay for most recently sold.
Please call 210-524-2337 for questions on purchases, series prices, or hours.

You can check eBay for current values. Most 90s stuff was massively overproduced so prepare yourself for the prices
We would be glad to give our opinion on your card's qualities, however we are not a grading service. We do host grading services a few times a year with Beckett Grading for their Raw Card Review services. From there you can decide if you want to go ahead and get your card fully graded BGS.
We appreciate your offer, however we typically deal with memorabilia that is autographed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, unsigned memorabilia and gear may find a good market on ebay however. Good Luck!
Miscut cards are no longer as sought after as they once were. Grading services will actually give a lower score to them due to the "Centering" being one of the 4 main criteria for grading. This actually has a diminishing value effect on the card. BJ's basic RC value is also rather low last I recall- probably a dollar or so for his Hoops or Skybox RC.
All depends on what cards you're talking about. Are they graded, rookies, condition? All of that will factor in to if they will buy them. Also, are you just trying to get rid of your collection as a whole or just individual card?

SCP would want to see it in person to see quality of the item before making an offer. The policy SCP employs is typically 50% of completed ebay sales price average for quality. So if the average selling price for a similar quality item is sold on ebay for $100 SCP would likely offer around $50. This is just general policy and you would want to go in person to find out the specifics for your card.
It should. Contact Sports Cards Plus for an accurate estimate
Not at the current time. We already have quite a few.
Only if they are graded, and grade high.
There's really no easy way for the average person to say with any certainty the autographs are real. There are however companies who specialize in authentication of cards and autographs, one of the more widely accepted is called Beckett Grading Services. They charge per item and the more you send in the less per item the charge is.
Straight to Ebay. Just my opinion
You're welcome to bring it by for a once-over. If it is a nice, possible high dollar one, we would probably suggest getting a COA from Beckett, PSA, or JSA if it isnt already.
Jordan had many hundreds of different cards over the years. Many of them are not very expensive. Check ebay completed sales by searching for your cards via the copyright year and card number found on the back of the card.
Not at this time.
Not at this time.
Knowing the year it was signed and the team would help in researching who perhaps signed it and its approximate value. If it is a high value item, having it certified will help sell the item for maximum potential value. JSA charges a fee for team signed balls that is roughly 100$ pass or fail, so since some minor league team signed balls sell for less than 100$ you may decide against certification.

It depends on authentication...thats the key. And how much someone is willing to pay. Ballpark with no authentication is around 15 bucks, but get it authenticated and skys the limit to the right person.
Yes it is, they mostly only deal in items with a COA, but can usually point you in the right direction. The owner and employees are pretty knowledgable and when posed questions, usually can find the answer youre looking for.
Thanks for your inquiry, of course we did address your question earlier on our reviews section I believe and wont be purchasing this particular item, but we do purchase certain items, Vintage, High End/Expensive, or Rare items in some cases. Derek Jeter's cards have held a great to good level of value depending on the exact item and condition of the item. Most athletes that are bound for the Hall of Fame are not going to soar in value after being inducted, since most people already have well established the players value overall it usually causes a slight uptick in value and interest. To help determine your items value, check off the completed & sold items menu on an ebay search and you may find similar items sold. Another cheap and quick option is to pick up a Beckett sports card price guide. Back issues are half off at SCP ($5+tax). Full newstand price for new issues is $10 +tax, so if you have a collection that isn't recent material, a back issue is fine instead.

Hi Richard. SCP does not typically buy Jerseys. In some cases if the item is Player Autographed and Authenticated by a professional like JSA, PSA, or Beckett we may consider purchase. I think I get the question- and yes, these days cards can have an actual autograph either directly on-card, or on a sticker/decal affixed to the card. on the back of the card usually the autograph is endorsed as real by the producing company. Some cards have a facsimile autograph, which is part of the printing process- these are usually easy to tell apart from a real signature, and are not as commonly seen as they used to be.
The one signed by Red Mccombs is still here, the other signatures on the ball are printed.
