I have lived here now for a little over 5 years and have loved it. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because of the management staff in the beginning. They have come a long way in communication and friendliness. They have nice 1 bedroom apartments that are small but feel big. They are about 620 Sq ft but the bedroom is massive. Utilities are included in rent (other than electric and wifi. If you want upgraded cable then you pay for that too). Quiet community. Have had very minimal repair issues in our time here and they have been taken care of promptly. A strict no pet policy unless you have gone through the hoops of an emotional support animal. Those that have an ESA have for the most part been great pet parents and mindful of neighbors. No central AC. live in an older building and the downstairs units have no AC at all. We fixed that with portable units and live quite comfortably. They did pull a hard credit check when I first moved in here (don't know if they still do) so be aware that it could still be a practice. Sometimes a few neighbors get a little loud on weekends and holidays but quiet down right around noise curfew. We find this a great place to call home and for the price you can't beat it. Yes you can find bigger and fancier places to live with more amenities but you are also going to pay through the nose for it. We have a friend who lives in the complex behind us and lives in a 1/1 like we do and pay $400/mo more in rent. You get assigned parking and if they have extra assigned parking you can rent a space for a small extra fee a month. Ample extra non assigned parking spots too. Overall, Legacy Court has treated us well and has only gotten better in the customer service part over time. Ever since Adrien has taken over as manager and they parted ways with the lady in the office with the above horrendously bad attitude its gotten a million times better here. Would recommend living here unless you want/need a ton of amenities. We love it here and will continue to call Legacy Court home.

I have not lived here, but recently applied and was accepted. While looking into whether I'd want to live at Legacy Court, I spoke with three tenants about their experience. All three recommended Legacy Court as a good place to live at a great price. It's an apartment complex without bells and whistles (e.g., no pool), but that's probably one reason rent is lower than other apartments in the area. The complex seems well-maintained and it's in a great location. The biggest drawbacks are the lack of central A/C, in-unit washers and dryers for certain units, and the smoking policy. Smoking is allowed, including inside apartments, and non-smokers are at the mercy of smokers—management rarely intervenes on behalf of a non-smoker (per conversation with office staff). Management has a reputation for strictly enforcing the lease contract, which is ultimately a good thing and matches what I would expect if I was living under an HOA. Legacy Court wouldn't let me preview the contract, however, which left me feeling uncomfortable about what I was signing myself up for. As far as I'm aware, it's not customary to keep a lease contract secret. This apartment seems to get more hate than it deserves, but I suspect some of that is self-inflicted due to certain office members who don't feel a need to be warm and welcoming. Overall, it seems like a decent place to live when you weigh the pros and cons, particularly if you are a smoker or don't mind it.

I’d written a bad review about this place before, but living at my current apartment has shown me that, for the price, Legacy is actually pretty good and I honestly feel this is worth writing a new review for. Cons: * The radiant heat is effective but does little to mix the air so it gets stuffy. * It’s inconvenient not having your own washer and dryer, not to mention going to the bank to get change to use the machines they have. * The neighbors smoking (and being allowed to smoke) inside their apartment renders your balcony useless unless you don’t mind the cigarette smell. Pros: * The price. As of 2020, they charged $875 for their largest apartment, which compared to other places was actually significantly less. * Nothing broke or needed repairs. Seriously, it’s super annoying having to contact maintenance every month to fix something, so it’s worth noting that everything generally worked at Legacy Court and did not need repair. * Ample storage and living space. * Generally safe and quiet environment. Overall, for the price, these are genuinely decent apartments that are well worth considering.

First Review 12/30/21: My wife and I have been staying here for a little over 2 months now. We actually really enjoy it, everyone really keeps to themselves. Every morning I do wake up to someone playing an electric guitar but he's actually really good at it so it doesn't bother me to much lol. My only problem is that they are thin walls, and a couple nights a week I'll here other apartments Tv's so I'm very light with my own. and when we first moved in the bathtub sink thing came out of the wall with not even a slight tug, but an easy fix. They are responsive and friendly, I hope we can be here for a good while.
