By appointment only. Hard to get a hold of. But friendly enough and completed the service.

At the moment it is temporarily closed, it seems negligent to me because many people leave with pets at the Miami airport and the process takes time because it is time to send documents to the Gainesville USDA

Excellent service. I arrived at 9:07 am without appointment and I left 9:45am with all documents ready. The security guard very kind and helpful as the person who call you in the window. If don't bring a money order you just fill out a credit card authorization.

I think you should have no problem. However, maybe check with the Gainesville office. It will be less busy this time of year.

Honestly, there is a lot of protocols and it is very stressful. Exporting animals is not easy. I have only exported a dog to Colombia, so the process might be different because it's a bird, and because it's PR. You can try calling them to make an appointment. And they will probably tell you that you need to take this specific paperwork to a certified veterinarian who will need to inspect the health of the animal and sign the papers. Then the USDA will review and sign the same papers. You will probably also have to contact the airline because they will ask you to declare the animal, and give you instructions about how you can take it and what kind of cage you will need. Also I am not sure if you can take the bird with you in the cabin, or if it needs to go in cargo.
