New playground equipment. Not much shade on the playground though and some parts of the toy are too hot for the kids for part of the day. Restrooms are ok. And the ducks are such a fun extra at this park. Several nice mature tress.

Why are there fences around the waterways?

Bob Peck | Oct 4, 2018
Lori Brough Williams | Oct 4, 2018

A lot of families with small children up to senior citizens visit this park. A creek runs through the park & the small pond with water fowl that is on the premises. The fence is to protect people, especially children, from falling in & potentially drowning. (What a way for everyone's fun day at the park to be ruined, especially those families most affected.) The fences also provide a protected area where the water fowl are more safe from people, dogs, etc.
