I attended a conference here and the service was top notch. I arrived and the room I was assigned had a smoky smell, I called to ensure they documented it wasn’t me who made the smell. They immediately moved me to a bigger, nicer room without me asking. So polite, would absolutely stay again.

Such an amazing experience here. Caroline took great care of us! She went above and beyond to upgrade our stay and we had the best view able to watch fireworks from our hotel room. She also gave us brochures for things to do in the area and discussed parking! I would 10/10 recommend staying here especially when staff like Caroline are this amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay incredible! Thank you!!

Likes: -Our room had AMAZING views!! -Valet parking -Rooftop/indoor dining was really nice -Quality of food was excellent and to our liking -Room service -Great shower -Very comfortable bed with clean fresh white sheets -Rooms was clean -Room was neat and organized -Nice size television -Very helpful staff -Aesthetically pleasing lobby and room -Clean/fresh rags and towels - Location wise it’s in the heart of Norfolk, it’s close to everything and you don’t have to drive. Dislikes - it’s constantly events and people there haha and I think there’s a club on a certain floor. Too much.

Where do I start, Staff tried to help and i give no fault to them, they did what was expected of them.. Now, we were provided room 2230 first which had a broken mini fridge, didn't find this out until we unpacked bathroom stuff and cloths and started putting drinks away then repacked all items and moved to rm 2330, which seemed fine at first, so I turned on the A/C because the rm was at 74d but guess what... room never changed temps, called down and front desk (FD) was helpful and showed me another room 2214 i think which the temp was at 78d and felt no cold AC from unit. Now my wife is mad because we sleep in 65 deg temps at home so she went down and was going to be shown another room until "engineering" told the FD that all room AC was off... now We pay good money to stay here and having AC is a basic right. So now we are stuck in room with no AC. Friday barley gets down to 71, Saturday barely gets down to 68 and both nights the room is very humid and stagnate air. We didn't really sleep either night with Sat night being the worse of the 2, which leads me into Sunday..... we were supposed to go to brunch with my folks but of course we are exhausted and cancelled to go home (we live in Chesapeake) and take naps. FD gave us 1/2 off our stay but to be honest I don't think we will come back, better off staying across the water in Portsmouth. not happy... NOT happy at all. edit, my wife had to wipe down all surfaces with wipes to get things completely cleaned.. the bathroom ceiling has peeling paint, the sliding bathroom door is not smooth and binds halfway. the TV when extended swings back towards wall, the small table that slides under couch has bent legs and wobbles, the windows were dirty and there was what appeared to be blood stains on the ceiling over the bed.

Go there and ask security to see and see if you can speak with someone in human resources. They will give you a card. Use the card and you will be able to put a application in online.
