No its public. But there is no public parking nearby. The best way to get to the jetty is to either park at the mall(johnny longboats, drunken goats, wings, 711) and walk down. Its about a 10 min walk. Ooorrr you can park on edwards st and park in the parking lot across from the fire station and follow the sidewalk all the way to the water. Take edwards the view is better. Heres a tip bring a snorkle and go on incoming tide. you can find a tide chart anywhere or just google it. Force E has a lot of good info on where and when to snorkle around here.
