I came across the documentary of Leah Remini: Scientology and the aftermath. I highly recommend watching it on Netflix, it explains the ugly truth behind the organization. This should not even be called a church, they are just here for the money and status. This is not the Jesus/God that's taught in the bible.

It's a religious philosophy. There are a lot of self - help classes and they practice methods of better handling situations in life.
