Marcie, owner/operator, seems to be good people. Reasonable rates, Nice lil campground on the river. I'll let you know if that should change.

The grounds were clean, the only restoom they has was a portapotty and it was past due for serviceing. The young lady who registered us was very nice and helpful. The cost is reasonable and so the fire wood. I would not recomend this place for tent camping, it's too noisy, with much traffic noise, situated between the freeway too close to the south, hwy 61 to the north and the River Inn bar just across the river to the west. The bat had a DJ ouside playing music until after 1 AM Sunday morning. We got very little sleep.

We came up from Iowa with our dog so I could run the Minnesota Voyager 50 mile and had a great time. Marcie was a wonderful host and the campground was in great shape. Everyone camping there was super friendly too. Very convenient location and fun things to do; just walk across the bridge for a nice place to eat and two whitewater rafting outfitters or hike the trails within the campground. We will definitely be back next year!
