Great rustic campground. We had some neighbors that were a little loud but that happens all the time.

This has been my go-to campground in the silver bay/Finland MN area for a long time, and it never disappoints. First come first serve, self registration only, perfect for impromptu trips and when all the other campgrounds are full.

Typical State Forest Campground not much space even though there is a lot of space available. Self service/first come first serve full friday 4pm in season. There is a Well but takes a while to fill rv. Dump station by scenic overlook in Silverbay which is closest Grocery. Best firewood towards Finland on right side $5/armload. Not patrolled and if campground host gone bring ear plugs too. Dumpsters very back/last loop. A rocky shallow river runs around 1/2 of it ...

This is our favorite campground. We love how close it is to the river and that most sites are tent only - first come first serve, so we like to get there early in the week to get our favorite spot.

It's first come first serve. We didn't have any issue this past weekend and we got there around 6pm on Saturday. I think there's a decent possibility. It's a nice location. Free roam is a good app to find free campsites aswell
No, it o baptism river right around the corner from state park... Tattaguchi, that's booked
Don't think there are any fish in the Baptism River that runs along side campground. You would have better luck at the inland lakes (bass, walleye, northern, panfish, etc) or in Lake Superior.
Unsure, contact the DNR or report it to the Tettegouche state park officials.
This is actually a state forest. Fee is $14 per night, paid via drop box. Vault toilets and water available. Picnic table and fire ring.
Heres some information for you but you can look all of this up on Eckbeck's website. The campground, which is adjacent to the Baptism River, is considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. In addition, vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. All sites are on a first-come, first-served basis for a fee. Highlights: Eckbeck Campground and Day Use Area is approximately 3 miles from Lake Superior and Tetttegouche State Park, offers the visitor a great alternative to the more developed and heavily used state parks along the North Shore. Camping fee required $14.00 for tent camping 31 campsites (2 accessible) Water & Sanitation 4 toilets drinking water
