Officer, Polly Harris is a great school resource officer. Her class is super informative and she reminds us that law enforcement officers are human. All of the officers at CHPD lookout for the high schoolers, good and bad.

Special thanks to Officer’s Saldarriaga & Hughson today. Had a rattlesnake in the yard that went up our pergola about 9 feet. Officer Saldarriaga went up the latter and grabbed that bad boy. Also, just last Friday we had some downed lines from an accident in front of our home and we met officer Nick Garcia. We found him to be personable & likable. Over the years, we’ve had great interaction Chief Russo and every officer we’ve run into at CHPD. We also appreciate this department for helping with the ski traffic on Prospector Drive…it’s really made a difference. My sister was late taking her four kids (6 and under) to swim lessons. She gets pulled over because her car wasn’t registered (no postcard, LOL) and because she was short with the officer he made her take all four kids out of the car, including a baby and a toddler, and car seats, on a busy road, and impounded the car and left her there before a ride came. Worst officer ever. Will be issuing a formal complaint. Her six year old as the officer is driving away: “I don’t like cops”. That is how you create a negative view of yourself in the community. Not serving the people but going on a power trip because you don’t like someone’s tone.
