One maintenance worker sits and yells at everyone by the pool. Said we don't plan to heat the pools till fall. Pools were cold in July. Its Wisconsin you need heated pools. The "improvements" have made the place look worse and sites are now smaller. Far better campgrounds in the area.

We have been there quite a few times this summer and always had a great experience. The staff is nice and the grounds are great for a 3 year old. They always have fun activities to do on the weekends. I was also pleasantly surprised with how good the food is in their little restaurant there! ** UPDATE ** Came here one last time at the end of the year and camping here in late October is awesome! There are lots of activities to do besides swim that we had a really full weekend. We did their trick or treat event and had a blast! People go all out for it and the kids get lots of candy! The parents get treats too ;) The views are incredible.

First trip here (8-17 to 8-21-2018, SO MUCH NICER THAN JELLY STONE!) pool area, splash pad, and water slide areas are very nice (very busy on Saturday) Child safe gates so little ones can't escape into deeper pool areas. Bathroom/shower areas cleanish, with flush toilets and private showers. Has a small store with the "essentials", soft drinks, adult beverages, and ice cream. Prices don't seem too bad. Also bar that serves food. The roads through the camp ground are a little tricky to navigate. Some have hills, large rocks, and tight clearances. All are passable but maybe slightly challenging for inexperienced operators. Be on the lookout for golf carts, seems like all the permanent sites have one, and there are a LOT of them, but all operators seem to be courteous. Kids said they love it, and want to come back again, guess this means we're done with Jelly Stone.

Discloser: this review pertains to the "haunted mansion" portion of the campground only, held during the weekends in October. As stumbling upon this only last weekend, I cannot comment on the campground, because I haven't stayed there yet. But in terms of the haunted house, it was really good! The price was only 10 dollars per person, which is very reasonable for a haunted house nowadays. The price included a corn maze, haunted stops, haunted bus ride from one portion to the other, and haunted mansion, all very well done with great effects and actors. The staff were great, both the living and the ghouls. If you're in Door County and looking for a haunted house, this is an awesome option!
