Been a member here for over two years. Pretty good place to break in a new handgun or rimfire rifle. Most of the folks I encountered have been nice and polite. There are a lot of rules, which I'm fine with beings this is basically a big bullet trap with a building surrounding it. Thus needing the rules to prevent a tragic accident from occurring. I usually go at night after 9pm just to avoid any of the weekly classes or matches that are held. However, the area/road leading to the range can be a little sketchy. So approach with caution and make use of the security cameras before you leave the range and get into your car. All in all it's a great place to shoot Handguns, rimfire and PCC's. I like the fact it's close to my house and open all year 24 hours a day.

I have had a great experience at this club. The instruction and skills development is top notch. And the safety expectation are a refreshing breath of fresh air based on experiences I have had at other clubs. I am confident that anytime I visit DRPC that safety is #1!

I would give 2.5 if it was an option. I guess its an okay place to sight in pistols and PCCs, but the overtly obnoxious safety rules really killed the experience for me. Staff was friendly, and actual target range is longer than most ranges locally. I'm all for safety, I believe every range should enforce it, as well as crack down on obvious safety violations, but man. Some of these rules are out of another dimension. I have never seen a range with these types of strict safety rules, and they heavily detract from the experience. I was yelled at, so everyone else could hear, after my muzzle drifted slightly downwards on a locked back slide.

As I was a guest today of a friend of mines as I wanted to join the club, we were asked to leave by Roger Boyce because as we’re talking in the lobby on of the members called and said we didn’t sign in. Wow the customer service today was horrible as Roger seemed to have a chip on his shoulder about is being in the building. So now I will take my money to another range. Hope you can fix Roger demeanor so he don’t make people leave you range!
