I have been going to Mr. Hayes' store ever since I moved to West Chester, PA. He is super nice and really knows his stuff. Her personally called me the other day to say my Touch & Sew machine could not be fixed. I am so sad, it was my first machine since 1974. He won't even take payment for his time! He and his daughter have worked on it many times over the years. I ran beginners classes for a number of years and brought all my student machines to them for cleaning and tuning. Super job and reasonable. I love their selection of quality fabrics. Have a good selection of notions. Even when I couldn't find a button foot in the store for my Touch & Sew, his daughter went right to the back shop and got one for me. They are all so nice and friendly. They will continue to be my go to place for fabric and machine repairs.

I have a Europro that was barely used and I think it should be looked over, oiled, tune up. I’d like to get back into sewing again. I don’t think I used it more than 3 times. Could you service it?

I took in a 1949 Singer that was idle for years Mr Hayes really did a nice job! I have a Husqvarna (which they don't make anymore), and it will be going in next for a cleaning and tune-up. They know how to care for sewing machines. You can call and talk to them first. I'm very pleased with their work.

We will take 1 machine in as trade per machine, for machines starting $399 and up. We do not outright buy used machines or sell them on consignment.

Do you deal with quilts? Now I see you do. I have an heirloom quilt that needs a sleeve sewn on the back ( top) and a pole to hang it. Can you help?

Do you repair Featherweights ? I have one that after using for a while the motor quits. I wait a few seconds and try again and it works until it quits again. This happens again and again.

As far as I know Mr Hayes can fix most machines, though they are Bernina dealers. Good luck!
