I love my bank and have been with them over 25 years. HOWEVER ... Gave 3 stars because the mobile app needs to be FIXED ASAP. Horrible app ... when it is working it is ok...but it doesn't work. App just says LOADING for hours at a time.. Ever since they made changes this app has been useless!! You THINK you have a certain amount of money in the account and next thing you know it says something different . ...PLEASE UPGRADE! It's supposed to keep track for us and it's doing a HORRIBLE JOB. I don't want to keep spending money that I THINK I have then find out I didn't have it. Pending charges are supposed to be clear...this app is all over the place!!! I BEG OF YOU!

I am closing my account for the police and fire credit union. My tax refund was deposited into the wrong persons account. $8,000 that someone ran away with. I did the whole investigation with IRS and they closed the investigation because of whatever the bank told them. Which was they are not obligated by law to check the persons name with the bank account to ensure it goes to the right person. The operations manager said this happens to a lot of people but Instead of them changing it and have a person check the account number to the name a lot of people lose money. I held police and fire credit union to a higher standard because of who they are. But for anyone reading this please be careful because this bank does not care about you and can’t protect you or your money. If I could give no stars I would.

Had a terrible customer service experience at one branch but they said they handled the problem also i didn't need a loan but i tested them twice after they gave a friend of mines a 10,000 car loan whom had way less credit score and credentials than me i got denied twice for a way cheaper loan amount makes me think about the practices and morals of this credit union seems like only certain kind of people gets loans

Every single time I travel overseas, my credit cards and or debit card gets denied. I tell them beforehand that I’m traveling, talk to a manager and even go into the branch to ensure I have access to my money and credit abroad. Every single time I’ve been stranded and had to rely on travels partners to bail me out. Ridiculous. Will be closing my accounts ASAP!

For me using this bank my DD would always post a day before my payday. So I get paid Friday my DD would post Thursday. Hope this helps

PFFCU has a coin counter at every branch location, and there is no fee for member use. There is a $20 fee per coin transaction for any non-members.
PFFCU is in fact open on Black Friday. Closed on Thanksgiving however
2 business days at the max. If you deposit on Friday, it'll be available Monday no later than Tuesday.

There is a change machine but you have to take the slip to the teller if you are not a member there is an automatic $20 fee.
There is a strong possibility that is you did not pay the loan off they may not give you a secondary account. It depends on how much the loan was for and you may be asked to pay off up front.
