Best Buy has been going downhill for quite some time. They seem to have forgotten the concept of customer service. This location has terribly rude associates. The managers won't even give customers the time of day. They assumed I was someone else and told me "no" without even knowing what I was there for. Update: absolutely NEVER go to this store for customer service issues, they're terrible and rude. I was able to get a price match by calling customer service (888-Best-Buy). The young man Isaac was polite and was able to offer some service recovery. A concept only the best customer service representatives are familiar with. Even though the device I wanted to price match was only on sale for one day (yesterday) he saw that, and issued me a credit for the difference plus tax! The only thing I was disappointed with was that it was in the form of a gift card, but it was still more than I expected. Thank you Isaac. Gaithersburg Best Buy... I'll be shopping at Microcenter from now on.

Worst costumer service ever . I went in on 09/06/22 @430pm to get my iPhone phone screen fixed because I had scheduled an appointment the week prior I drove 30 minutes to get there after picking picking up my daughter from school and when I get I let them know I am there for my appointment and the male at the geek squad let’s me know sorry but there no one available there that does iPhone repairs but someone will be back next week . I asked thn why didn’t anyone call me to let me know and why did it allow me schedule . He giggled and said “ ANYONE can schedule an appointment “ doesn’t even apologize for the inconvenience.. maybe they need more training in costumer service . So disappointed

I never used the geek squad like that but i am told they are good for things like that.
Profit margins in retailing are very slim, especially with electronics. The management is usually more concerned with how the stock performs and the payment of quarterly dividends than with the employees. Usually they are badly paid, badly trained and they hire as few of them as possible. This isn't the fault of the employees and you shouldn't holler at them because of it. I'm saying this based on my own long experience in retail. If you holler at anybody it should be the district manager if you can catch him or find somebody higher up in the food chain. The local employees are regarded as disposable fodder by the big chains. They are paid badly and treated badly.
