This was the first time I ever returned something to Dollar General. It was a $6 item. The cashier doesn't handle returns!! so he calls for some woman who can't find her keys. Already the service is looking bad. She then found a back-up set and processed the return. She had me sign for the credit and handed me a receipt. I look at it and realize it's my original receipt. I ask her, don't I get a "credit" receipt and she said no. Ever hear of a return policy where the customer doesn't get a receipt? Guess I'll have to keep an eye on my credit card bill.

It’s unfortunate that I have to do a review about this but I hope this goes to the right person. Today I had went to my usual Dollar General located at 5000 Coconut Creek Pkwy Margate, FL 33063 where I never have an issue. Always good customer service with the workers on staff. Today that impression quickly turned with the worker Natasha at the register. The moment stepping foot in there no one greeted any customers at all they were too busy having their on conversation, now to be fair they were fixing the shelves by the register but not paying attention who’s coming in and out. As I shop I’m finally ready to come check out the two lady’s Natasha and another worker gray haired women. Continue having their conversation doing what their doing then, while I unload my stuff on the counter Natasha finally gets up and comes to assist. No hello. No hi.Just starts scanning my items. Ok… so I’m standing there letting her scan the items she finishes and doesn’t even tell me my total??? Like the least you can do is tell me how much I’m paying just cause it’s on the screen Stan like come on.. I cash out start to get my bags and she turns as a Caucasian women walks in she goes “ Hello ma’am Good afternoon ma’am” waving so much… but couldn’t even speak to me… that’s just rude. I used to work in customer service and would never treat a customer like that. I do feel this was racially motivated as a darker gentleman came to check out and she didn’t say a word to him. This is definitely uncalled for and if dollar general is going to allow employees to pick and choose which RACE there going to say hello to I’m gonna have to take this to legal matters and inform the media as something needs to be done!!!
