I never had an issue with the staff or the dentist until that front desk lady Sylvia started working there. She first rubbed me the wrong way when she asked , “what’s the problem you been at this for 5 years already” in a very sarcastic way when she met me for the first time which I did not appreciate because she has no idea of the circumstances. I had my first braces after getting a Frenun cut, completed my orthodontic treatments and got my retainers. My frenun grew back and so my gap opened again. I got braces a second time. During that course I was diagnosed with leukemia and went through extensive chemotherapy. I had to have the braces removed during that time. Third time got braces again and the plan was to place partial zirconia crowns which was $4000. I put $1000 towards the crowns but missed quite a few of the braces adjustment appointments (because I was working as a travel nurse and so the one day a month date was very difficult to comply with) and in order for the crowns to look esthetic I still needed the braces to move teeth around. Long story short, I got a second opinion and was able to get a whole set of porcelain veneers without needed any more orthodontic treatments from another provider. On September 22, I requested a refund of that $1000. Sylvia stated she would call me back . She never called back. I Started to call every single day for 2 weeks and my calls were not answered. I called from my husbands phone and she answered. It has now been 2 months since I first requested a refund and I am YET to receive my refund. All me or my husband have heard from Sylvia is “I’m not in the office or I’m waiting for the accountant, or call me back tomorrow”. It does not take 2 months for an accountant to verify that I paid $1000 and to process my refund and I have recognized that I am being strung along. The communication from her is non existent and unprofessional and bad for business. I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB if my refund is not processed immediately.

I had a bridge put in on April of 2020 and the Initial cost was 3500 so I paid 2k in 2018 ,then I came back one year and half later and they honored my dental plan I.E in the 2020year .with remaining balance of 1500 .when I tell you they did an amazing job !!! and they are willing to work with you money wise!!!! I would definitely Recommend them to any of my family members and Friends

This was my first experience at total care dental. From the moment I walked in, Sylvia took time to explain everything to me, she is amazing. I’ve been going to dentist since I was a small child, and I have never had a better dentist and Dr. Hernandez, not only is she amazing but she really does care about each and everyone of her patients. I felt like I was a family member. The work that she had done for me it was very extensive bone grafting, remove teeth etc. I can honestly tell you I woke up the next morning with no pain. That has never happened to me. I recommend this office for anyone that wants a caring Dentist and Staff, the best I’ve ever been to.

I am so grateful to have met Dr. Hernandez and have had her perform important and complex dental work including an implant that was done perfectly.. She is passionate about her work and performing her best at all times and cares so much for her patients. Not only is she a skilled oral surgeon, she is an exceptional person and a Doctor first and foremost. She treats everyone with total kindness. The reviews criticizing the ladies at the front desk are people being overly sensitive. Julie and Sylvia are great but possibly a little rough around the edges.
