The Dolphin Connection at the Hawk's Cay Resort on Duck Key was amazing. I was able to cross this off of my bucket list and now I want to do it again and again! The entire staff was excellent and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. I was able to pet, hug and swim with Maya, a 17 year old female who was so gentle and fun-loving. I can't wait to do it again one day!

Great experience! The trainers were great, very nice and informative. We got to swim with Boomer and Maia both were very happy to cooperate and had lots of energy. We had a blast and cant wait to go back again!

There is an observation deck for viewing. The cost varies for petting the dolphins to swimming with them. Dolphin Connection tells you the prices. You also have to make a reservation.

I never saw any so I'm not sure . I know at the lagoon and at the main resort they are not but we stayed in a Villa . You call them on the phone and they pick you up and take you to the main resort . So maybe at the villa. sorry I don't have a real good answer

You said no jewelry but my wedding rings won’t come off. Can I still book an excursion?

I'm wondering about the life of the dolphins and what kind of conditions that they are exposed to. Are they just kept confined until someone pays to interact with them. Know that they are highly intelligent & do have feelings!

Yes there is a place to watch the dolphins. It's located within the hotel, but it's a separate entity. Both places are great!
