Interesting tour! The tour guides were great, very personable and informative. Our first floor guide, Molly, sang "My Old Kentucky Home" beautifully. A lot of original items that were family owned. The grounds were very pretty. Gift shop has a little something for everyone. Looking forward to going back again someday.

The first part of the tour was amazing with our guide singing “My old Kentucky home.” He was knowledgeable and polite. The second floor tour guide was less than pleasant. Answering questions in a condescending manner and even being snarky. The old hag ruined what would have been an otherwise great tour.

I love coming to this park! Touring the historic mansion is a must, of course, but the green spaces are beautiful, particularly during the fall. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy nature. Last time I visited, I came home with a beautiful set of handmade pottery from their gift shop.

We visited My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown, KY on our recent Fall 2021 RV Bourbon Trail Trip. Very nice tour including a rendition the of the song “My Old Kentucky Home” by the tour guide. Interesting stories in each room. No photos allowed inside. Well worth the price of admission.

The painter of the Italian watercolors selected and purchased during the Rowan family's time in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies is unknown. It is believed that none of these particular paintings are signed, currently. This is common in this particular type of artwork.
