Paul was an excellent host - so much hospitality! He gives you tips on all the distilleries. Plus he know everyone so it’s fun to get the back story. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds very comfortable. Would go back again!

It's a great place to stay in the heart of town with lots of history. The guest rooms which are converted jail cells are very nice. The back jail was left as cells, and they gave a short tour of the history of the building. Many say it is haunted.

Front staff unfriendly. Breakfast is late so had to skip if you want to get on with your day—no breakfast to go. No tour or information about the history of the building, despite driving all the way for that. Jail cell is dirty with old Walmart bedding and has no lamp and only one outlet way across the room. Shower was disgusting. You hear everything outside. Poor heat in unit and they don’t even turn it on for your arrival ahead of time. Smells of horrible cigarette smoke from staff smoking outside the unit. Back door is right outside your room door so you hear people coming and going. Parking is behind a cemetery and a walk through an alley way. Whole thing not worth the money or trip. Don’t bother for special occasions either—they don’t acknowledge it.

Paul was our host/jailer and made the entire experience completely awesome! From his courtesy to his breakfast, I was blown away!! We were treated like family and anything we needed or wanted was supplied!Paul would check on our itineraries and make sure everything was a go, plus he would recommend and help us plan our adventures if we needed suggestions! On the day of our Ann, we came back from several tours to find our rom decorated and covered with rose petals! Talk about going the extra mile!!!The tour of the B&B alone is worth the trip! If you visit the Bourbon Trail, this is the place to stay! Friendly and inviting full of history and charm!

They have a modern suite of rooms in a side building that was converted. They have 4 rooms in the main jailhouse building. 1 on first floor and 3 on the second. In nice weather we ate breakfast in a grotto style area in the old jail courtyard . Food was good though no seconds were offered.
