I had experience with a few places back east with my grandparents and while thinking about bringing out my father to Iowa, I was worried about what to expect since my previous interactions in Jersey were not great. But i visited Independence Village and its so wonderful. The staff are so very friendly and really care about each person there! Like seriously! It’s never the easiest time for a family but i feel comfortable recommending Independence Village as a place where my father will be cared for and flourish!

I work for another facility in the area but I work with independence village to get patients from my facility to theirs and it is always a smooth process! You can tell they truly care about their residents and want the best for others. Today, they even provided transport for a patient from my facility to theirs with short notice, which most places don't do. Love working with independence village!

Hello Diane, Thank you for reaching out about our community! We provide a private suite with a recliner, tv, nightstand, dresser, tall armoire (closet), and bed for our rehab. When an individual is receiving rehab, their insurance is covering their stay. For example, Medicare covers the first 20 days, and from days 21-100, if the patient is making progress, then their secondary insurance will pick up the co-pays. Our business office manager always checks insurance before admitting to ensure the patient will not have a co-pay. To learn more, please call us directly. Thank you!
