I was very disappointed with our stay and I would not have chosen this hotel if I knew what I know now. It was not in a condition as expected for the price I paid. My room in all honesty smelled like a smoking room for myself and my 14 year old son. I was informed this was a non smoking hotel and our room smelled of smoke. There was staining on the side of the sheets and when we pulled back the covering a spider was inside the bed. The light upon entering was like a strobe light. The pool was not open due to maintenance. The pool was very important to us. I would have appreciated notification of this regardless as I understand things happen but it would have been a good thing to do. I need to state we could use the adjacent hotels pool but it was an inconvenience. Location overall was good for all things. Hotel needs an entire checklist of repairs. Exterior has extensive wood rotting/damage. Other bugs around the hallways, red paint on walls, The bathtub had missing plate cover for the overflow was, I think that’s what it’s called but it was an open hole. No glass shower door like in photos but a shower curtain. The shower and vanity area combo is extremely small. The 2nd floor ice maker was not operational. Looked like it has not worked in quite some time. Overall a fail. The maintenance and housekeeping and most all employees are extremely kind and helpful and changed sheets with spider and lightbulb. They were the absolute only good thing from our stay. But honestly it should not be up to them to accommodate for such disrepair and uncaring facilities from the owners of this Hilton. They need to invest in their investment. I was disappointed and will not recommend or stay at this hotel again. I told everyone who was out of town with us that stayed at other hotels, they were lucky! I hope the owners care better moving forward for their employees and complete quality control checks of their business. It’s truly shameful the condition of this hotel. Small things can be mitigated if cared about enough.

This hotel was not what I hoped for. When I first arrived after a long drive-in, I asked in a pleasant voice if there was any coffee available. I was met with a firm “ NO”. Indeed there is no coffee available in the lobby but you can buy breakfast in the morning for $15 or a cup of cup for $2.50. I had to step over a huge pile of dirty towels outside my door when I checked in. There were dirty towels piled up all along the hallway and it stayed that way for several hours. The room was fairly clean but very dark. The amenities in the room were acceptable and included a safe, microwave, good sized fridge, and a full length mirror all which I appreciate. There was a door leading out to a parking lot right next to my first floor room. A sign on the door said that it was locked 24 hours a day for guest safety, and to use your room key for access. I was glad for that because the hotel was right off the highway with not much else around it. Unfortunately the door was open and unlocked 24/7. I didn’t feel safe as I leave for work at 4 am- and when I first asked about it the gentleman at the desk said he would lock it. He didn’t. I asked the second day and was told that maintenance was coming to look at it. Still no action. The third day I spoke to the manager and she said that the door stayed open and was only locked for a few hours roughly 9 PM to 3 AM ( ???) . Both her and the receptionist at the desk were extremely rude. I had asked for housekeeping early- before 1 pm so that I could return from my very early shift and sleep. It was not done. Actually no housekeeping came. I’ve stayed at about 6 different hotels in the last 7 months in Huntsville and this one was by far the worst. I’d never stay there again . One microwaved cookie doesn’t make up for that hahaha

The room was nice. The customer service was decent. The manager was excellent. The bed was a little hard with very soft pillows(but I bring my own pillows). The room was super warm, even at 60°F and there wasn't a clock. The hotel has great amenities and a decent breakfast. We always stay at this hotel for convenience to friends/family. Definitely will stay again.

Positive: Liked the room size and having the living room with doors closing it off from the bedroom. Good amount of space. Good storage also. Negative: No housekeeping during our stay. We stayed 5 nights and had to empty our own garbage and go to get clean towels etc. Room came with sofa bed but when we went to use it there were no sheets on the bed and no sheets or blankets in the room.

Pool yes hot tub no
I think it an outdoor pool so unless it goes inside it would be to cold. Embassy has and indoor pool but is about $$75 more a night. Rooms are comparable both nice. Embassy you pay for view and maybe a little nicer but not that much to me. They used to have free breakfast at Embassy do not know if the still do. It changed some and did not eat breakfast last time.
