I visited this location in downtown Spartanburg yesterday. I wanted to ship a box to another FedEx store in Florence, SC. I was told the only way I could ship there was express (overnight), which would have been $175.00. I had already checked with the FedEx location in Florence and they told me this was NOT TRUE. Either the employees at the FedEx are not trained properly, or the franchisee is trying to rip people off by telling them they have to ship overnight, which is not true. Unfortunately shipping cost have increased dramatically and even then half of the time FedEx cannot delivery as promised or will even lose your package. Very poor customer service. If I could give less than a 1 star I would.

Don’t make the mistake asking this business for help because they will up sale you and don’t dare ask questions because they will get rude and talk down to you with comments like “we don’t give advice for free” and “he can’t afford to ship this” and “there’s a learning curve to this” I was quoted $118 to ship a item and the box they recommended was 5x the size of the item. With help from a close friend we ended up shipping the item for $26.17. This isn’t the first incident I’ve had with this store as I had a item shipped to me to resale but when I went to ship it they said I couldn’t ship it in that box and that I had to purchase one from them for $5. They delivered the original box and it was in perfect shape so I was and still confused about that one. This is a shame and I can only imagine how they’ve treated my mother and the elderly people I know who used this service n the past. I will not be using them again and plan on reaching out to my community about their practices.

I had a gift basket delivered out of state. The guy told me that he didn’t know what box to use for such a large package. Then he told me that I would have to package it because it contained food items, and FedEx doesn’t package anything with food items; but he would talk me through it. First of all, he placed the gift back face down in the basket. The basket weighed 39.95lbs. He told me to only use bubble wrap. After packing the gift basket faced down with bubble wrap, he stood the box up, sealed it, labeled it fragile & this side up. He charged me $170.00 for fedex ground services. The package arrived on time to Alabama, but wasn’t placed with the this side up. Everything in the basket had come through the cellophane wrapping paper. I was horrified when my client called and told me this. His mother’s gift basket was ruined. In this business, presentation is everything, and to receive your package like this is unacceptable; especially, after paying $170.00 for shipping. If I could give a zero, I would. I usually use UPS, but FedEx is a little faster than UPS. Now I know. For quality service, use UPS!!! For representatives with experience packing large gift baskets, go to UPS. FedEx should refund my money. I had to offer my client his money ($325.00).Overall experience.....terrible!!!

Always such a please coming to this location. They are so helpful and patient. I’ve met Doug at 2 locations and he is always very pleasant to deal with. Mathew has a great attitude and is very patient with all that I bring him, always. Highly recommend this location for printing and shipping needs. The store is never really too

If you are there before 1 on Saturday, it can get there Monday. If you are after 1, it won't leave until Monday.
I would call FedEx customer service. They may have a backlog of shipments if there's been bad weather.
