My Mother has had at least a couple of other hearing aids through the years that did not seem to work at all for her. Last week she received some new ones from Carolina Forest Hearing Center. The difference is amazing. She hears everything the first time and we can all enjoy conversing again. Thank you so much for giving my Mother her hearing back. My husband was referred to Carolina Forest Hearing center from a family audiologist located out of state. Dr. Shumway has 30 yrs. of experience as an audiologist with an exceptionally qualified staff. My husband who has been retired for several years had occupational hearing loss. Once I retired, I realized how this hearing loss affected our 24/7 communication capacity. Then, it became intolerable. So we used our family audiologist research to meet with Dr. Shumway. Terry Shumway is truly dedicated to her patient's needs during examination, listening to every detail, and providing affordable choices for us to consider. This Dr. and her staff wanted us to be completely satisfied with my husband's new hearing aids. Let me tell you folks, you will never find that level of professionalism with an "over the counter hearing aid purchase". We are so impressed with Dr. Shumway not only as an Audiologist but as a genuinely compassionate person. We applaud Terry and her staff and highly recommend her services.
