This place was gorgeous! Loved being in nature and seeing different things... Seen caterpillars, walking sticks, mushrooms, craw dad's, and one shake!

Breathtaking spring water comes right out of the mountain the water my friend it's amazing never tasted anything so good that's free water from God and all the Roots & Herb's nuts and berries good medicine these mountains and Hills can heal you you just got to know what to look for that's the beauty of LaRue Pine Hills and the Trail of Tears the Native American Way

In the Fall they migrate from the swamp and surrounding area to adjacent limestone bluffs to brumate for the Winter. In Spring they will reverse that and move from the bluffs back to the swamp and surrounding area.
