The best vet I have ever been too. The staff here is so amazing and have never been anything short of helpful, compassionate, and kind. It is so so hard to find a vet that cares for rats but with Dr Shroud and the whole Rock Road staff I feel safe leaving my babies with them. Not to mention they are by far one of the most affordable vets for pocket pet care. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

I have been going here for years and love the vets however they have a manager who is out of control and who is very condescending. I wanted to speak with one of the owners but the manager refused because it would not look good for her. I had just taken my fur baby there about 2 weeks ago but today I was informed by this very nasty manager that I was red flagged. For what but she did not respond. I didn't do anything wrong or say anything wrong just want the owners to know because of her they are losing clients. She will not let the owner see this and I'm sure the owner has no idea of what's happening. I will be speaking to my attorney as I definitely know this is wrong and I have been retaliated because I wanted to speak to the owners which one way or another I will. It's unfortunate that one person who is in charge let's that go to her head and can ruin the company. I've had no problems with the other lady's at the front desk only this extremely nasty power hungry person who has let her position go to her head. I've worked in the medical field for many years and have seen this type and eventually the doctors will see what's going on hopefully before more clients leave.

My wife likes this organization. I am saddened that it doesn't recognize veterans the same as active duty. As a vet we have served this country also. To provide a discount for those who are serving now yet disregard the previous service of veterans just doesn't seem proper to me. If it wasn't for those who have already served then our way of life may not have been possible.

be prepared to wait 3 weeks for any appointment. whether you have been a client for over 30 years or 30 days. you are told that you will be put on a list in case of a cancelation, but no one ever calls back. if you call again you are told it is your responsibility to keep calling them for a possible walkin appt no matter what the pet's problem. even if you explicitly tell them that your dog has been limping for almost a week. you are told to "call back on Monday we do not take walk ins on friday or saturday"

Hi Cassandra, the office visit is $45 and there would be an additional charge for the upper respiratory medicine. Our doctors do provide estimates to help clients understand costs associated with their visits. Meanwhile, make sure your kitten doesn’t come in contact with any other cat, as URIs are very contagious. We unfortunately don’t bill for these services, but we do accept Care Credit (www.carecredit.com). Please call the office for more information.

I do not know. I do know that St Ann has a spay and neuter day each spring and will sometimes do shots.
I'm sure they do, but you may be better off going to the Humane Society's vet. Most vets will euthanize pets if they can't be saved, and you can even get your pet cremated & purchase an urn &/or pendant on a necklace to hold the precious ashes. My cat passed at home, & we spent extra to have only his ashes given back to us & also bought a gorgeous urn with a paw print & his name etched in the metal. We did this through Florissant Animal Hospital, though.
