if you are looking for a clean relaxing place with good customer service. I kept looking. this hotel is nothing like that.. worst experience in big bear so far. thanks for that.. 1 towel in the bathroom and one hour for can get more..

It's been the most awful experience in my stays at any hotel ever! The room was really dusty and pets hair all over! I had to clean by myself to feel a little better also bathroom was so smelling like pop that I had to buy a bottle of alcohol to clean up and still had the bad smelling... This was the worst experience for me... I've been staying in Motel 6 in another places but this facility was the worst . Just remember my staying there make feel nasty

They forced me in a handicapped smoking room instead of a single bed regular non-smoking room. When I got here at 11 PM nobody was at the office and I was calling the main 800 number and then 15 minutes later I saw the office person walk in. I was ready to call my credit card and cancel this transaction but luckily they showed up 15 minutes after I got here and I made a reservation half an hour prior to getting here. The hotel is not too bad except I didn’t get the room that I wanted. I took it because it was July 4th and I knew that it’s going to be hard to get a room somewhere else cause this town was full of tourists. But the rating matches my score 2 stars I say it’s accurate.

Location was great for hiking, going on the slopes, and grabbing dinner in town. Literally 7 minutes away. The shower is small, but the water pressure was awesome and temp was hot. Just what you want after a long day in the snow. Heater worked great as well. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Great for a budget friendly get away! Thank you
