They will forever have a different adoption tomorrow. A cat I rescue from the streets of Glendale, Az to this area of Springfield, Il someone we knew wanted this cat to adopt. My goal is to find work and socialize animals forever homes. Well my cat jack wasnt a match well, he landed behind a wall. Jacks mom brought me her baby to my door. Without any question he was welcome home. Was the day he was sent to his new family. But soon he will be home with his family.

Andrea rescued a kitten at the intersection of Veterans & Jefferson, and delivered it here. Thankful SCAS was able to take it in.

Unless they are ill or uncontrollable they don't put them down
You can go to the website helpinglostpets.com and there are resources there for you. Also,if you are on Facebook there are many groups where you can post your lost pet. Sangamon County Lost Pets, Illinois Lost and Found Pets, Lost and Found Pets Springfield IL just to name a few. I hope you find Rosie.
Have too call the police and they have to call the after hours animal control
Some are lower fees than others. 60-80 dollars💵 It depends on age health but It's worth every penny, and you could save a life.
They won't be able to tell you anything in less it's your dog or a victim of the abuse. It's best to go in and talk with them.i hope the best out come for the animal.
Kim Pate no but all can use help and I don't actually work there but have adopted
Not really sure but I think it's about 60-80$
Not sure about that. I just adopted a dog.
Yes they do, rabies, neutered and microchipping can all be done there. The prices I different I believe if you are bringing your dog in or adopting . The adoption fee was 80 dollars if I remember correctly and all three were included. The rabies shot was a 1 year shot. Oh and our boy is a Pitt as well.
Sorry, the county does not monitor this Google page. Your best option is to call their phone number during business hours usually between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Good luck!
Highly unlikely. The next day probably. Even if you are approved you can't take them home the same day since sometimes they haven't been fixed or had their shots yet, plus they microchip them before they leave. You can usually have them home within a couple days though.
No, but they make every attempt to avoid euthanasia. They partner with different groups to publicize adoptions and they're euthanasia rate is very very low.
Call around to veterinary dr and ask. I use Auburn Veterinary Clinic. Very reasonable. Call them
Some people are looking for a particular breed of dogs or cats.
I don't think they have any raccoon but you can call & ask
It varies depending on how full they are. And time of year. Your best bet is to simply go there in person and find your friend.
No fee. No you have to take her their. They are close now. Short hours on Saturday
They get a wide variety of animals so I would call to ask.
I don't know, always have the vet give my dogs shots
Don't know but here is phone number 217-635-3065

No but they work really hard to get the animals adopted out. We love our dog that was adopted from here!
They send most cats to no kill sanctuaries but not sure of the policy on dogs.
It depends on where you get the shots. It can range from $70 to $125.
Rooster is not not allowed in Springfield, Chatham, Jerome or southernview. It's by law.
jane mcintyre,it doesn't cost to surrender, but they really don't like it if the animal is sick😪😷😷👷💊💉. They try to help you and send you to the right place that will or can. They understand if you move and can't have animals.Good luck.
Yes but not sure how much.
