Have always loved this store but it's showing its age. The newer Menards is cleaner and more professional with better selection. I hope this Lowes can update.

Both the local store and the company. Received an ad from Lowes corporate about a sale via email that said both in store and online. I drive 30 minutes to go in store to purchase and was told they cannot honor the sale in store and to purchase online. Ordered online with gift card that night and went back the next day for store pickup. Arrived in store and needed to make a change was told the entire purchase would need to be refunded so they did and then returned the gift card to an in store credit card. Didn't know it was in store until I went home that night to make a purchase and it wouldn't go through. Had to make third trip to store to ask that this be returned back to gift card to make online purchase. They told me they couldn't and to contact lowes customer care (they don't). Contacted them and was told they couldn't either so basically they stole my online/store gift card and forced me into in store only purchase with no way to purchase the items that are on sale online but the ad states in store or online. So I asked the phone support so I have no recourse other than to file a small claims case. Rep said I guess so. So debating filing a small claims case for basically stealing my money or forcing me to spend it one way when I had multiple ways to begin with. My original card could be used online or in store but now my new one can't. Not outright theft but financial shenanigans none the less. So three wasted trips burning gas, a complaint online, several phone calls, and possibly a small claims case.
