I was really surprised. I think all my family gasped as we walked in the cottage. It was clean and very nice. More than we expected! We were in cottage 20 and that one you can bring 2 pets, there was no smell in the cottage. I would not recommend small Children at this cottage due to it would be a long drop if the child fell into the water, just a concern for me, but they have other cottages and grounds to camp. Great Place to relax! P.S. Our cottage was equipped with dishes so it's up to you if you want to bring your own

Once you find a spot...It's awesome. I wish the water was cleaner but free and primitive is what I wanted. Thanks park ranger of Oconee River!!

Lovely in the spring. Lots of understory dogwoods lighting up the pines. Pretty wildflowers. Not many improvements so finding a bathroom might be a challenge if you are spending the day out there!
