Hello this is Robert Austin, just wanted to say Vanessa was amazing when I was there,I really feel like she genuinely cared about her patients and wanted the best. I'm really happy to hear she is the director I'm sure she will do great things. Methadone and Subutex have bad reputations but they allow people to live normal lives and become productive members of society again. If u have a loved one tell them to give the clinic a try it may save them. Hope u r doing well Vanessa ❤️ always. I really wish I still went there but I cannot do Suboxone but I appreciate u trying.

Staff is unprofessional and also they make me feel like they show favoritism to some of their patients and it's very unprofessional and uncomfortable to be around. Also they have no respect for the handicapped. I always bring my mother up here and she has an bad leg. But it seems that someone whose not even handicapped or that doesn't have an handicapped sticker always parked in the spot.

Can I come in to see a doctor even though Opiates are not completely out of my system? I would really like to see about getting some type of prescription for bupinorphine, before my withdrawals get too terrible. Thank you.

My experience at RMTC was a great life learning experience. First I had to come to believe I had a problem and then the staff could do what they do best. Not only did I get the help to treat my addiction I also learned a lot about my character defects that I didn't realize I had. This was tough to come to terms with but the more willIing I was to work on myself no matter how painful or uncomfortable it made me feel the more I was able to get out of the program. I am still sober and clean 7 months later and I am constantly working on becoming a better person. The staff and TA's are amazing people. The food was top notch. The equine therapy something I was skeptical about but it did wonders for me. I highly recommend this treatment center. My only advice to anyone going would be to push your ego aside and be ready to do whatever is asked of you no matter how much it eats at your ego or pride. If you are willing to dig deep inside yourself you will gain a tremendous amount of insight on what makes you tick and and how to curb it for the better. It will put you down the right path to continue to better yourself for the rest of your life. Jon T.

Could I come in today (Saturday) and get free suboxone to help with withdrawals from opioids ? I have no insurance

Hello Justin. I hope you are well. Sorry but it is not the way it works. You need to come in during week days (6 am until 12 noon) for admission so the staff can make an assessment of your situation and you need to see our Doctor. We are not a detox clinic. We are a maintenance long term treatment clinic dispensing Metahdone, Buprenorphine and counseling. If you are serious about treatment, it works very well. You can always call the clinic during open hours and we will give you all the information you need. The staff is very friendly and professional. I hope it helps. Best regards and good luck in your journey. The Staff

I have never heard of a rehab center not providing DRUG AND ALCOHOL treatment. I can refer you to one of the best rehab centers in the US also I personally worked there. It saved so many of my friends lives and it is not about the substance once you finish detox though they REALLY take care of you. does he have insurance? The center is called A FOREVER RECOVERY in Battle Creek Michigan. CALL THEM! THEY will 100% treat your brother. IT IS HUGE and they treat you like you are the only one there. it will change your brothers life. ALSO THEY FLY YOU THERE FOR FREE!!!!!!!!

I'm coming today for my intake and I've been there years ago so I'm bringing money to cover my outstanding balance from then, my question is will I be able to choose buprenorphine over methadone and will I get medicine so I won't be sick today???

Good morning, 1) The Doctor will tell you if you will be more successful with Methadone or Buprenorphine according to your profile. The Doctor will ultimately decide but of course you can voice your preference. She is a great Doctor and she is very understanding. 2) Yes, you will get medicine the same day you see the Doctor. Welcome back to treatment and good luck. Best regards, The staff.

I was on the methadone treatment program. I stopped the program about two weeks ago and now I'm experiencing jointed and mussels pains. Can I resume treatment without going through intake again?

Traci Gillow | Oct 3, 2020

Hello Traci. I hope you are feeling ok. Methadone treatment is long-term and stopping treatment without planning with your counselor and your nurse is not a good way to stop. To answer your question, I am sorry but after a patient has been out of treatment for more than 5 days, the patient needs to go through intake again to be readmitted in treatment. If you decide to readmit, Doctor day is on Thursday and the clinic phone # is (252) 972-4357. You have all our support. And remember, everybody is addicted to something... Thank you and best regards. The RMTC Staff

Rocky Mount Treatment Center | Oct 3, 2020

Good news ! There is no more co pay or admission fee and day of intake is Thursday (Doctor day). We also accept Medicaid and soon Medicare. $12/day for Methadone and $14/day for Bup. Please call (252) 972-4357. It is a good place with a great staff. Thank you.
