After thinking about buying a boat for years, I finally did it and purchased a Freedom 215. My only regret is that I shouldn't have waited so long. The boat handles extremely well in bigger swells, and everything about it speaks volumes about Grady-White's commitment to quality. Despite being one of their smaller models, nothing feels small about the Freedom 215. Even with 8 people on board, there's room for everyone to sit comfortably and move around. I love my Grady-White!

Fabulous Boat The fit and finish of my new GW Fisherman 236 is outstanding. The boat is light and nimble enough for water sports (tubing and skiing) yet solid and firm enough for serious off-shore fishing. All important valve and switches are easy access and there is ample storage space. The boat is an absolute pleasure to use!

Businesses could benefit from taking a page out of Grady-White Boats Success Manual! Dear Kris and Eddie (President and CEO), Congratulations on your success. LOVE your personal stories, the company history and the quality and craftsmanship of Grady-White Boats. Based on what I have read and have recently experienced myself, I can certainly understand why you are so successful! I am a SUPER FAN and wanted to share my THANKS to you both for leading your company in the amazing manner that you do! My husband and I recently purchased a 23.5 Freedom and LOL, I am still wondering how did this all happen? I think we lost it, I am moving into retirement 😊 and the time is NOW! We have never been “boat” people or even boat owners until 9 years ago. We sold our boat and had an idea we wanted a dual console, truth be told we thought we might get a Robalo. Not a Robalo to be found and never thought about trading up to a Grady-White. We tested 2 used GW boats from your authorized dealers/partners (one out of Cataumet Boats and the other out of Port Harbor Marine). Both Steve Hamel and Dan Lambrides were amazing, super helpful and low/no pressure. Each one went WAY out of their way to help sell us a boat. We went from Steve’s 2016 to Dan’s 2018 (both with Bimini) and then saw a 2020 - 23.5 GWF hardtop at a Pursuit dealer and from there we went crazy comparing everything! What was going to be a $70K purchase ended up being a new boat and truth be told it came down to pretty much a hardtop as the windlass could be installed in the 2018 model. Never thought this would be our decision yet our experiences with your Dealers along the way helped to get us here! Dan referred me to Baert Marine, in my backyard when we decided to go new. George Cochran was super professional and genuinely interested. He also didn’t have to put any pressure as your boats sell themselves with their fine detail, safety measures and overall quality. He educated us throughout the process and available morning, noon and night to answer all of my questions. I recall bringing my husband in to just “look” at the new Freedom and compare to what we had seen as he is super conservative, pragmatic and thoughtful about his decisions. George happened to be out and Bill Baert took the time to walk us through. The decision to buy a new Grady-White Freedom was NOT the one we intended although following our delivery last Friday, we could not be happier with the boat! Customer service has always been paramount to me in all I did in running my own business, it is our everything. I also love that you place a very high emphasis on your customer feedback where each dealer made some mention of change that comes from your customers making suggestions, etc. – it’s clear that you listen. When we took possession and we were both pleased and impressed with your process. From on land to water orientation, it was a positive experience, met the entire Baert Marine Team and had everyone's #'s to call "in case". Money cannot buy this service and can understand 1st hand why you have “raving fans”. It starts at the top, the decisions you’re made along the way and the way you have led your company, your team, your dealers and their teams. Cheers! Gayle Piraino

Questions & Answers

I have a 1988 Grady White Overnighter with an original Taylor made bimini. Im missing the bolts that hold the frame to the side of the boat. Does anyone know what size and where to get them?

Malcolm McKay | Sep 19, 2022

Hi Malcolm - We do not have 100% documentation for that, but we suggest you try through bolting the side plates that the frame mounts to through the deckwing with 1 ½” #10 SS bolts. These should be available at any reputable marine store. Thank you!

I want to repower my Offshore 242 with 150 hp four stroke motors. I currently have twin 150 Johnsons. My concern is the additional weight. Anyone have this configuration?

Do y'all have alot of work layoffs

Hello! No, we do not have a lot of work layoffs. Only when the economy has been really, really bad (like the Recession in 2008-9) in the past, have we had to layoff. I have been here 32 years.

We recently purchased a 2021 Grady White Freedom 215. We are in need of a boat cover and can't seem to find one that fits the boat properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Contact your purchasing dealer and they should be able to help. Or you can contact Bert Kelly here at Grady white. Hope it helps. #gradyemployee

No, unfortunately we do not rent out boats. However if you’re in the area, you can head over to our dealer, Park Boat Co. and rent a boat.
