The new lodge and restaurant is awesome. The new menu is geared more to the female taste, and too fru-fru for the hearty man's preference. The renovation and expansion is a welcome addition to the park. My only suggestion is to add steaks, and fish & chips to the menu.

Everything worked and the staff was nice. However the lodge room was dirty. I was glad I arrived late because I was so tired I didn’t care as long as I could sleep. The ice machine was either out of order or working poorly. Will not stay again. Will not recommend. I did talk to two lovely local gentlemen joggers in the parking lot. Loved them.

The brochure makes it look fantastic and it may be during the Summer months. The park ranger was friendly and explained a lot. There will be a new dining facility but it doesn't count since I showed up expecting one on site. Hopefully it'll be open if you stay. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you may not have much to do there. Not everything is open during the week either. Very decent camp sites are available, but again if it's wet, you can't do a lot outside of the paved areas.

Had a small group conference. Good food, generous quantities, nicely remodeled rooms. Helpful desk staff, but a little backed up on Fri nite check-ins.
