I had an alarm system installed by NCA Alarms installer on May 13th. The appointment was easy to setup. The installer was professional and did a good job. All of my interactions with NCA have been good. I'm not crazy about the phone app to arm/disarm the system as it often fails to connect and work. So, we just use the keypad instead and hope the phone app will be improved soon. I've used NCA in the past at a prior residence and have never had a bad experience with them.

Good Morning Amy, Unfortunately we are only licensed in the state of Tennessee. Thank you for the kind complement!

Why the 245 dollar upfront costs to convert a fully cellular system to your system? Seems out of calibration with the industry and your competition. Happy Holidays.

Not knowing exactly the conversation you had with one of our sales representatives, I can only go off of the dollar amount that you put in your review. Not all alarm systems can be converted. Some equipment is just too old and some equipment was placed by companies that use proprietary equipment in customers’ homes hoping to never lose them as a customer. If you visit our website at (https://www.nca-alarms.com/convert-your-system) you can see a list of equipment that can and cannot be converted. If your system can be converted, there is a onetime conversion fee (Trip and Labor) that is between $79 to $99, depending on what county you live in (drive time from Davidson County). If you have to replace the Control Panel (the main brain) and one keypad, you would add an additional $100 to the conversion fee. If you have to replace the Control Panel and two keypads, you would add an additional $156 to the conversion fee. (Please see our response to your review for the remaining)
