I really can’t rave enough about this place. My partner and I have a baby in the NICU and got the amazing opportunity to stay here. Although a lot of the amenities are closed for a while due to Covid, there are SO many awesome areas in this house from lounge areas to a perfect little library room. This house makes you feel so much more normalcy during the tough times than anywhere else and allows you to have “normal” parts of your day while being away from your home. They really care about your comfort here. My partner and I wanted to cry when coming in because of the generosity of the staff and the many people who have donated endlessly to people like us who have a little one in the hospital. It puts a whole new perspective on life being here and I know it makes me want to do so much more to give back to those who helped me in one of my hardest times.

They could use them and then the hospital could use them too. They would put handmade quilts over my daughter's incubator bed in the NICU to keep light out when she slept. The PICU had little kids and parents that would love them.
For the family to stay while their child is in a hospital.
Not sure what is wrong with beanie babies. When my family stayed there, my toddler received a stuffed animal and book set, so I do know at that time they were not against stuffed animals. They should have given you some explanation. Maybe call and ask to speak to someone else.
Yes, any aluminum pull tabs! You can get all your friends and family together to turn them in at the same time! If you go on the website, they even have school challenges.
Rules are still the same. They can visit but not stay
Ronald McDonald house is only for children. They do however have social workers onsite to help with these issues. Call the office of the doctor you are scheduled to see and ask for a referral.
