We had a leak in our home and Storm Guard Roofing was the first company to respond in a timely manner. They showed up to do an assessment and it was clear that we had wind and water damage. Michael, the sales manager, was honest & never pushy. The insurance process was made easier with this company by our side. Michael also came out and met with our adjuster so that nothing was missed. It was extremely helpful that he guided us through the insurance process and we only had to pay our deductible! Within two weeks the guys were here to put on our new roof. The professionalism is above and beyond. They protected our gardens and even taped off our yard as a precaution. I HIGHLY recommend them. They take care of you and your home very well.

First class service. I had several water spots on the bathroom ceiling. They first appeared after a hurricane a couple years ago and then increased after another recent hurricane. I thought perhaps water was getting blown in through a roof vent. I called Storm Guard but somehow didn't get through. Corey called me right back. He came out within an hour got up on the roof, inspected it and then caulked all my vents. Really impressed with how responsive and reasonable Storm Guard was. Highly recommend them.

StormGuard is a great Company. They are very confident, knowledgeable and available. The workers were on time every day and kept my property clean of nails and debris. The roof looks amazing. Great job guys!

Many homeowner insurance policies cover roof leaks as long as the cause is something that is specified in the plan. These usually include events such as storms, vandalism, excess weight, fire, and other situations. Insurance policies are less likely to cover leaks when they are caused by lack of maintenance or wear and tear.
A roof inspection helps you catch small problems before they become big. By the time you can see leaks on your ceiling, chances are you already have a large amount of damage.
Most homeowners insurance policies will cover roof repairs if the damage was the result of something unpreventable such as storms, burglary, or an accident. Your insurance may also cover some repairs that are the result of general wear and tear, but these are less likely to be fully covered.
Most policies offer two types of coverage: roof repair and roof replacement. Roof replacement is usually covered if it is caused by something that could not have been prevented like weather or accidents.
