Great place to camp and enjoy nature. The pool & lake are fun for kids when camping or for day use. The trails we hiked were well maintained & had some great views.

Amazing natural place for trailing, biking, fishing or just relaxing. Large lake nestled amongst lush vegetations. Great hiking trails amongst dense trees. And water activity area as well for summer heat. Great place to visit with family fun and frolic

We stay at the campgrounds every labor day weekend.. Just like advertised, they come through..Campground host is totally amazing.. Any problems are quickly and efficiently addressed.. I would recommend this campground to everyone of all ages.. Bathrooms have showers and are usually immaculate.

Yes there are 25 miles of horse trails. And overnight camping available.
Have several updated bike trails from easy to extreme. Enjoy the ride
You can rent kayaks, canoes, and small jon boats. No motors. The lake is not very deep.
They have electric (not full hookups) and a dump station with potable water.
I don't think so I've been going there about 40 years
There is a group camp that consists of 12 cabins that have the ability to hold a total of 120 people. Cabin #1 is the only cabin with a bathroom located within the cabin. The area also has a Recreation Hall and Dining Hall which each have restrooms. They are rented as a whole and they are $240 per night.
Rowboat canoes 5 per hour 20 per day. Kayaks 8 per hour. The Dnr certainly makes it difficult to find information. Can't blame you for asking.
Saturday 5/26 at noon.
Yes, but there is an entrance fee to the park of $9 if you live out of state
They do not & further, bike trails are closed. I believe u can bring your own.
It's beautiful at sunset. Lunkers by the bridge and really cool trails
Tent sites are available. The pool is not open. Yes you can fish without a boat. You can get a fishing license online or at the Ranger Station. I'm not sure of price. Go to the Indiana, Department if Natural Resources website. Anything you need to know is on there.
Yes
I didn't see any but you might contact the campground store and maybe someone there could give you a more accurate answer.
No
$7 per vehicle for Indiana residents and $9 per vehicle for out of State residents. Pedestrian, bikes, buses and passenger Vans are $2 per person.
Yes as long as they are on a leash
Camping only and last time I went it was $27 a night but you would have to call ahead for rates and what's availible.
Cant answer that, I've always wondered that myself.
$3 per person
Pool hours can vary. For the most reliable daily hours, the park can be contacted at 812-689-6424.
$7 to get into the park for State residence $3 per person to swimI'm pretty sure it's $9 for out of state residents to enter the park that is per vehicle
It usually closes on the last day of October.
Surveillance cameras and wristwatches.
Visit https://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/5062.htm for fees.
April 1st
I think four or five in a canoe. If it's three little one's and two adults. We take our youngest two grandkids out in our canoe, both on the same seat. Little one's need to wear life jacket.
Any places around there where u can do that? Wanting to plan a big trip and just find a camp spot
Hi Trish. Our entrance fees are $7 per in-state vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle. Thanks for your inquiry.
I dont think it cost anything. You just have to pay $7 to get in to the park for Indiana residents
Yes its very reasonable. And 85% of the campers leave Sunday If you come mid week you'll feel like you own the place.
There are cabins in the group camp. So, if you have a group, yes.
It don't go by the person, it goes buy the car. If you have Indiana plates it cost $7 to get in. If you have out of state plates it costs $9 to get in. If you want to camp that cost at an average of 25 dollars a night per camping spot.
They have a lot of big sites, most of them are great for tents because they are some of the biggest and nicest of all state parks.
Yep, they have trails, difficulty depends on if you eat a lot of twinkies and Mt Dew or not.
Yes there are trails but I think you bring your horses
Yes. Potable water at entrance, and several places for water throughout thw campground. If you plan on using the pool during the summer season, please note there is a separate charge for use of the pool (it used to be included).
The park has free entrance during winter campground rates which start in early November... From the park... "WINTER CAMPING RATES ARE IN EFFECT FROM EARLY NOVEMBER THROUGH LATE MARCH. ALSO, THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE DURING THESE MONTHS." You would still need a boat permit for the kayak!
You would have to call the office to the park and ask. I was just visiting the park. We are from Florida.
No the did away with the equine rental Several years ago.
The pool is open on weekends from 12 till 6 through Labor Day weekend. It will be. Approximately June 1st before it reopens.
