This place is super cute and has a lovely, warm atmosphere. I ordered a vanilla cappuccino and a butter croissant and both were delicious. And this is coming from someone who almost always orders iced drinks! :)

Without a doubt one of the best coffee shop in Chicago. Metropolis is very spacious, clean and the vibe is perfect for relaxation and lounging. Their drip coffee is definitely the most delicious in Edgewater. We stopped by this morning for some coffee, buttery croissant , and egg/cheese hand pie….everything tasted fresh and very delicious. Highly highly recommend! 👍

Hi Justin, We allow service dogs. We also have an outdoor cafe where dogs are allowed (and encouraged). Ask for a puppaccino when you drop by
They have a new setup on the inside with two windows, one for ordering/paying and the other for picking up. All staff are in a completely separate room on the other side of the two windows
