Their coffee is great and they probably have one of the best lemon bars I’ve ever tried! I had to skip the bagel because I was on my way to work and the wait was 30 min. They run from a small kitchen so understandably it takes awhile if they get a large order. Good local spot!

On the hunt for a one of the best local coffee spots in Chicago, Perkolater is up there in the top spot. Let start with the service. Super friendly staff with great recommendations. They seem to know the menu very well and recommended very good breakfast meals. The coffee is OUSTANDING. I ordered a regular coffee and a cold brew and were both excellent roasts. I also tried the horchata latte and my GOODNESS, is it delicious. I don’t know what I’ll end up choosing next time. We ate onsite and the vibe is super relaxed. Great art and the corner location brings in all the happy sunlight. Parking is the only downside but definitely available around the area. Worth the parking meter trip. I look forward to dropping by again.

I haven't seen any inside but it's also tight quarters in there. In warmer weather, you can sit outside on some benches to the side with your dog. I tie my pooch up while I grab a cup of coffee to go.
I'd say they're exceptional. It's a walk up service at the moment so no one is able to go inside and the staff is masked, in any case. There is an outdoor seating section if you'd like to drink your coffee on location
